The
TSG™ Suite
TSG is a family or Suite of
programs of increasing sophistication, matched to your varying needs.
As with all families TSG can grow with your increasing familiarity or
demand for more information.
The TSG Suite provides you with
options for different degrees of functionality, depending on whether you
wish to view or share already processed spectral data, or require high
level capabilities for detailed analysis of multiple spectra, use core
images and ancillary data streams, need thermal infrared capabilities,
or have small or large data sets. TSG Suite offers choice,
scalability and growth.
The current members of the TSG Suite are:
|
|
|
|
TSG Lite:
The entry level
TSG for small data sets, with most of the same functions
available in TSG Pro, but without the built in assisted
mineralogical interpretation algorithm "The Spectral Assistant"
(TSATM).
|
|
|
TSG Pro:
The most widely used version
of TSG, with functionality suitable for the majority of spectral
geology applications, including assisted mineralogical
interpretation with TSATM. Suitable for medium sized
datasets. |
|
|
TSG Core:
The high-level version of
TSG with advanced functionality for HyLogging data sets with
core and chip image handling capabilities, as well as many built
in productivity tools. Handles very large data sets (50K+). |
|
|
TSG Viewer:
This is a low cost
version of TSG, developed to allow dissemination of already
interpreted spectral data to non-spectral experts within
companies and organisations and for training purposes. TSG
Viewer has no computational ability but can view any information
created in any of the other TSG-Suite members. |
|
|
All the TSG options
have the same friendly and intuitive TSG user interface, which revolves
around the five main TSG screens augmented by additional screens in the
more advanced members of the Suite. Each screen provides different display
options to view your data from a number of different angles allowing you
to interactively interrogate your spectral data fully, particularly in the context of
your project geology. All screens are linked allowing rapid and
unprecedented interaction at the individual sample level. For more detail on the TSG user interface
and the different screens, please go to TSG Features.
Most importantly,
there is a complete Upgrade Path from TSG Lite to TSG Pro to TSG
Core, and onwards, so as your experience with spectral geology grows or your needs
change, you can always upgrade to a higher-level version.
To assist you in
deciding which is the best TSG for you as well as the different capabilities of the
various TSG options please contact
TSG Enquiries for advice. Details on each option are also tabulated on the Which TSG?
page. More details on each member of the TSG
Suite are discussed under their individual headings, above.

|
Analyse from small (<100) to very large
(50,000+) spectral data sets |
|
|
Turn 1000's of spectra into calculated mineralogical
indices for analysis of specific mineral characteristics
(such as composition) |
|
|
Automate mineral interpretation with The Spectral
Assistant (TSATM) or the Aux Match function |
|
|
Integrate
spectrally-derived mineral data with imported geochemical and
geological log data |
|
|
Visualise and Plot
your results in many different formats and views, including down hole, or as
sections, maps and scatterplots and, in TSG Core, with sample images |
|
|
Supports spectral data from most spectrometers including the PIMATM,
HyLoggerTM, HyChipsTM, FieldSpecTM,
TerraSpecTM, PosamTM as well as from ENVITM
spectral libraries |
Partnered with appropriate quality data, TSG will empower you to gain greater
insight into the mineralogy and mineral chemistry of your samples.
